AI tool for self-represented litigants (free Bronze tier) — built by someone who went through it

Post by Foresightcustody »

Hey everyone — wanted to share something that would've saved me a lot of pain.
When I was self-repping through family court, three things nearly broke me: not understanding my own documents, not knowing which form applied to my situation, and having zero path forward except "get a lawyer" (which I couldn't afford).
So I built FORESIGHT (foresightcustody.ca):
AI document scanning — upload your court docs and it explains what they actually mean, in plain language
Form guidance — matched to your province's actual process, not generic legal info
Mediation-first pathway — built around the 2021 Divorce Act, for people who want resolution over conflict
The Bronze tier is free— free because I know what it's like to have $0 for legal help. If it saves even one person the confusion I went through, that's the whole point of building it.
Happy to answer anything about how it works.

Thank you for sharing.

We need more self organizing solutions like this.

Great job.

Thank you I appreciate the words. I just need help getting others on board. To get others to understand that paying for a lawyer will do nothing but drag out your case to drain you financially.

This is an alternative to give back the power to the people. One step at a time.
