The plan for a freedom community. The law is "HARM NO ONE" breaking down into 3 parts:
1) harm no one;
2) harm no ones property
3) honour your word.
The Plan: Society of FreyMen - A Free Community
I. Executive Summary
The Society of FreyMen aims to establish a self-sufficient, voluntary community governed by the principle of "HARM NO ONE," breaking down into three core tenets: harm no one, harm no one's property, and honour your word. Inspired by Freyr, the Norse god of fertility, crops, peace, and prosperity, we seek to create a harmonious, peaceful, and productive society away from legal authorities.
II. Community Principles and Oath
1. Membership Oath: "I solemnly swear to harm no one, respect everyone's property, and uphold my word. I will not engage with the legal system and will not seek its intervention."
2. Declaration of Independence: "We, the Free Men and Women, declare our independence from coercive institutions. We commit to voluntary cooperation, mutual aid, and peaceful coexistence. We acknowledge our interdependence with nature and our responsibility to protect and preserve it."
III. Strategic Plan
A. Location
- Find or establish an offshore or remote location, far enough from legal authorities to minimize interference.
B. Infrastructure
1. Self-sufficiency: Develop and maintain autonomous systems for air (atmosphere), water, food (agriculture, aquaponics, etc.), and materials (recycling, upcycling, etc.).
2. Infrastructure: Establish necessary facilities like communal spaces, workshops, renewable energy sources, and waste management systems.
C. Governance
- Implement a voluntary, consensus-based decision-making process, with a focus on conflict resolution and mediation.
- Establish a reputation system to build trust and encourage positive behaviours.
D. Education and Experience
- Foster a culture of lifelong learning, encouraging members to share their skills and knowledge through workshops, apprenticeships, and mentorships.
- Promote experiential learning and personal growth through community projects and initiatives.
E. Membership
- Welcoming only those who voluntary join and actively contribute to the community.
- Encouraging diversity in skills, backgrounds, and perspectives.
IV. Financial Projections
- Initial funding through member contributions, crowdfunding, and potentially partnerships with like-minded organizations.
- Ongoing sustainability through barter and trade systems, cooperative business ventures, and skill-sharing economy.
- Potential revenue streams: selling surplus goods and services, offering educational programs to external parties, and hosting workshops or retreats.
V. Milestones
1. Secure a suitable location and establish a core team (Year 1).
2. Develop initial infrastructure and implement self-sufficiency systems (Year 2-3).
3. Welcoming new members and growing the community (Year 4 onwards).
4. Establishing a solid governance structure and reputation system (Year 5-7).
5. Becoming a self-sustaining, thriving community with a positive impact on its surroundings (Year 10+).
1) harm no one;
2) harm no ones property
3) honour your word.
